And of course I didn't get anywhere near as much done as I wanted to beforehand, part of that being the perfectly normal and understandable urge to make a pair of travel pants out of spite. Like you do. POINT BEING, alas I am off and away for two weeks or so, hopefully there will actually be more writing at some point when I return??? Hopes. The Staff of the Hideaway Exhibition

I found this in my drafts. As I took it way before I finishing remodeling. It is now outdated as I only updated the card with a new walkthough video. However, since the writes have already introduced the staff a bit just gonna put this chart here.

In the photo Left to Right: Sakichi, Hotaru, Manami, Jiro. Below of course has Luken and @yulin-xiv

yeah this explains it.

Luken and Yulin don't a have a line to eachother because their relationship is undefineable.

Manami is cut out because she too young to work at the Hideaway officially. But she haunts the narriative don't worry. Manami line to Yulin would be wet, stray cat that followed me home. Then Yulin's to Manami would say physical representation on my inner child that needs healing.

Manami's like to Luken would be cool adult friend that I know. And reverse Luken to her would child I know that I hope I dont make the same mistakes my parents made with me.

Manami's line to Jiro of course just say Father - Daughter. And while Sakichi would be the Cool Uncle. Manami does not call Hotaru mom. Like yeah because why does she need one??? When she got her dad right there. What is a mom anyways. No one at the Hideaway can given an answer because none of these orphans know (ignore the fact that Luken has 2 moms. He doesnt). Anyways Hotaru is the big boss to her and she is right.

And yes I gave these npcs full backstories and personality right after I said I just needed flat characters for this writing piece. Luken is honestly my only dynamic character though.

Anyhow, I adored Shadow Milk so much that they're gonna be in the AU as an actual character instead of fiction made by Pale lily

It's been a while, huh?

So folks! It's been about.. what, two, three years since I last posted here?

Well, I actually never forgot about this. I just got frustrated with how I could show my story. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret commissioning those icons, just for me, they were very limited.

So, what I've been doing for the past two years was working on my own art skills and on the Calhoun race.

I'm going to open the ask box, and it's going to permanently stay open. You can send any ask about/for the Calhouns if you want.

I have a plan, and there will probably be a 'reset' for the story. Aka we're going to the beguinning again.

But until then- here is the core five again. I'll probably fiddling with them until my fully happy though. So don't be surprised if I change these a bit. *coughParticularlyTheHairStylescough*
